Beatings, babes & Chet Baker
Probably best known in America for Chet Baker's marvellous free-jazz score (rivalling Miles Davis's for "Ascenseur pour l'echafaud"), this is a cheaply made but enjoyably atmospheric and idiosyncratic crime movie.

American edited, English dubbed version, and leaves it to an American to post the original. This French version is 15 minutes longer, even though it doesn't have all the naked women added by Bob Cresse for American audiences; original French nudity was used sparingly. Still a few minutes shy of the original 75 minute run time. Optional English subtitles are included.
