Future Sodom is actually a good feature that has been saddled with
a poor title. Sodom was the ancient Palentine city destroyed by fire
because of the depravity of its inhabitants. But most potential
purchasers are going to think of the word sodomy when they see
the title and not realize this sexvid is completely straight and aimed
at the mainstream adult audience.
People trying to determine their personal sexuality is a common
theme in couples tapes and in Future Sodom, Frank James and
Jeremiah Logan are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Frank is
perfectly happy with noncommital sex, whereas Jeremiah
desperately longs for romance. The sexual encounters throughout
are consistently hot. This intensity is heightened by both revealing
close-ups which come when desired and the excellent camera angles.
Transition scenes have a pleasant dream-like quality to them, but I
can't go into much detail about this without giving away the trick
ending. Sound and color are consistently good. The editing is tight,
especially during the erotic orgy scene.
Future Sodom is a melodramatic sexvid that does a fine job of
handling a serious adult subject. It holds up well for repeated
viewings and members of both sexes will find it enjoyable.
