This version of Nell is a combination of the original publication from the year 1900 combined with enhancements coming from the 1967 re-print. Specifically, the font is significantly more in line with fonts in use today and there is a short introduction, which was not present in the 1900 print. The Postscript was not included in the 1967 version, but is included here. That Postscript does not "feel" right! For example, one letter in the postscript is date Aug. 12, 1899. This makes no sense given that the underlying work "Lenchen im Zuchthaus" was published in 1840.
