I woke up after nine hours of solid sleep and felt like crawling back under the covers again. My mouth had a nauseous taste to it and my head ached in a most peculiar manner, as though the top of it was about ready to fly off and sail across the room. I felt hungover, and this was out of the question if only because I hadn't had more than one or two drinks a day in... well, three months, at the very least.
